Who is BlueCoffeeBeanz?

BlueCoffeeBeanz Art is operated by Blue (she/her) a Toronto-based illustrator & artist.  Trained in traditional drawing & painting, Blue made a transition to digital illustration during the 2020 lockdowns and has found joy in creating playful, vibrant artworks that blend her traditional techniques with the digital medium.  Blue has continually returned to drawing & painting during her lowest points, and has learned that the indulgence and fun of art can be healing and fortifying. 

Blue dabbles in digital painting, fan-art and editorial illustrations, but her overarching body of work has been described as fun, eclectic, and rich in colour. Her art is inspired by the illustrative works of Hayo Miyazaki & Beatrix Potter, but has also been influenced by painters like Edward Hopper and members of the Group of Seven.
